The La Fe campus is located at 721 S. Ochoa.  We will be meeting in the Cultural and Technology Building, which is located behind the health clinic.

Rev. Dr. John Nelsen will provide commentary during the forum.  Since coming to El Paso 8 years ago to head University Presbyterian Church (UPC), he has immersed himself in borderlands activities.  His interest in border issues actually began 15 years before arriving in El Paso when he led mission trips to small communities along the US-Mexico border.  Rev. Nelsen has served as President of the National Presbyterian Border Mission board as well as President of the Presbyterian border project, Pasos de Fe.  He has led the building up of UPC’s outreach program, which now include 40 nonprofit partners.  UPC dedicates 50% of its operating budget to Mission, that is, to supporting local charitable organizations.  For additional information on the mission work of UPC, click here.
